Job Description
Job Overview Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high cleanliness standards. Handle laundry operations efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners Maintain floor care by mopping, sweeping, and applying appropriate chemical agents to ensure a pristine appearance. Assist with janitorial duties and industrial cleaning tasks as needed to support overall sanitation efforts. Handle chemical agents responsibly, ensuring proper storage and disposal in compliance with safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and maintaining a friendly demeanor. Support custodial activities across public areas to sustain a clean and inviting environment for guests and staff alike. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with strong knowledge of sanitation practices. Skilled in floor cleaning techniques including the use of various cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling laundry loads or moving cleaning supplies. Excellent manual handling skills combined with attention to detail in cleaning tasks. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Experience in industrial or janitorial cleaning environments is highly desirable
