Hotel Housekeeper Americinn in Waupun is looking for additional housekeeping team members to join our awesome Americinn Waupun Family! Housekeeping is what gives hotels the 'wow' factor. It's the moment that guests walk into the hotel and are impressed, then enter their bedrooms and think 'wow, this looks wonderful'. To deliver a great guest experience - a Room Attendant will clean and service guest rooms so everything is spotless and prepared for guests. Please note our housekeepers are asked to complete 8-12 guestrooms in a 6-8 hour shift working in teams with a total of 16-24 rooms. Our staff, management, work together to complete rooms. clean guest rooms dust and polish furniture and fittings,vacumm empty and clean trash containers dispose of trash in a sanitary manner clean sinks, mirrors, tubs, toilets and showers wipe down glass surfaces make up beds and change dirty linens with clean items tidy up rooms restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies, etc inspect and turn mattresses regularly monitor guest laundry bags replace laundry bags and slips check all appliances in rooms are in working order realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout wash windows as scheduled clean metal fixtures and fittings store all dirty laundry in line with company policy organize work schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departures distribute linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand respond to guest queries and requests respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms organize and restock cart at the end of the shift ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms follow all company safety and security procedures report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observe and report damage of hotel property monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements check AC unit and clean filter
