Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and cleaning surfaces to the highest standards. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene and safety standards are met consistently. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to maintain floors, carpets, upholstery, and other surfaces. Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or large items with proper techniques to prevent injury. Maintain an organized cleaning schedule by managing time effectively to complete all assigned tasks promptly. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service. Ensure outdoor work areas are kept tidy when applicable, including patios or entryways. Follow all janitorial and custodial procedures for cleaning equipment maintenance and proper disposal of waste. Qualifications Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, floor care products, carpet cleaning tools, and janitorial equipment. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday. Customer service-oriented mindset with clear communication skills for client interaction. Experience in outdoor work environments is a plus. Knowledge of commercial or custodial cleaning practices is advantageous. Ability to perform detailed dusting, surface cleaning, and floor maintenance including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors. Previous housekeeping management or supervisory experience is desirable but not required.
