Competitive hourly wage (based on experience) Position Summary The Bicentennial Inn is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Part-Time Housekeeper to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces for our guests. You will help maintain the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that our guests expect at our historic inn in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Key Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established checklists and standards Make beds with fresh linens, change towels, and restock guest amenities (shampoo, soap, coffee, etc.) Vacuum, dust, mop, and clean floors, windows, mirrors, and surfaces Strip, wash, fold, and stock linens and towels Empty trash, replace liners, and maintain proper waste disposal Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost & found items to management Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with guests Qualifications Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not required — we will train the right candidate Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift (up to 30-40 lbs), and move quickly for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Must pass a background check Reliable transportation required What We Offer Flexible part-time schedule centered around Sundays Competitive pay plus tips from satisfied guests Employee discounts on hotel stays (when available) A supportive, family-oriented work environment Opportunity for additional hours during peak seasons or events If you are dependable, take pride in your work, and want to contribute to a well-regarded local business, we encourage you to apply!
