Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by executing routine janitorial tasks with precision. Utilize safety data sheets (SDS) to handle chemical agents safely and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all cleaning activities. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and industrial cleaning tools to ensure floors are well-maintained through proper floor care techniques. Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest safety at all times during cleaning operations or in case of incidents. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to laundry loads or moving cleaning supplies while adhering to manual handling safety protocols. Contribute to overall hotel housekeeping management by maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial work within a hospitality environment is highly preferred. Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices, floor cleaning techniques, and sanitation standards required for hotel operations. Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly by understanding chemical handling procedures and safety data sheets (SDS). Strong manual handling skills with the physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members alike. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols essential for maintaining a secure environment. Experience operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, or other industrial tools is advantageous.
