Elkins Rehabilitation & Care Center (ERCC) is hiring a full-time Environmental Services Aide to help keep our facility clean, welcoming, and comfortable for the people who call it home. From freshly cleaned spaces to clean linens, your work supports residents' daily comfort and helps our care team do their best work. - Supplemental insurance options What You'll Do
- Help maintain clean, orderly resident spaces and common areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and carpets
- Operate housekeeping and laundry equipment
- Collect, wash, dry, fold, and deliver linens
- Respond to calls and requests for housekeeping and laundry assistance
- Follow cleaning procedures and written and verbal instructions
- Work with other team members to support a comfortable, welcoming environment What We're Looking For
- Someone dependable who takes pride in a job well done
- Attention to detail and a respectful, caring approach to residents
- Ability to work well with others and follow instructions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Current, valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Must be at least 25 years old due to driver insurance requirements
- Ability to perform duties involving lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing ladders
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed Preferred, but not required: One year of housekeeping experience.
