Hotel Housekeeping / Laundry Attendant -

Job Description Position Summary:

The Housekeeping/Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel linens. This role ensures guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay by providing high standards of cleanliness and timely laundry services.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping Duties:

Clean and service guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms Replenish guest supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens Clean public areas like hallways, lobbies, and restrooms Report any maintenance issues or damages to management Follow hotel cleanliness and safety standards

Laundry Duties:

Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and guest laundry Operate laundry machines safely and efficiently Inspect linens for stains or damage and treat or report as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area Ensure proper handling of guest clothing and delicate items

Requirements:

Previous housekeeping or laundry experience is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good attention to detail and time management skills Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Work Environment:

Fast-paced hotel setting Requires weekend, holiday, and shift work Physically demanding role with repetitive tasks

Pay:

$12.00 - $12.50 per hour
