Housekeeper Overview The Summit Suites is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you play a vital role in creating an exceptional guest experience by ensuring every room and public area is clean, comfortable, and ready to welcome our guests. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys staying active, and understands that cleanliness is one of the most important parts of a great hotel stay. If you have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and enjoy working as part of a team, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchenettes, and living areas. Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and guest amenities. Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize all assigned guest rooms and public areas. Clean windows, mirrors, furniture, appliances, and other surfaces to maintain a spotless appearance. Restock housekeeping carts and supply closets with linens, toiletries, and cleaning products. Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance concerns, and lost-and-found items, reporting issues promptly to management. Assist with laundry operations as needed, including washing, drying, folding, organizing, and stocking clean linens and towels. Maintain clean hallways, stairwells, laundry areas, and other common spaces. Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures. Work efficiently to complete assigned rooms while maintaining high quality standards. Provide friendly and courteous interactions with guests while respecting their privacy. Qualifications Previous hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent attendance record. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Able to lift up to 30 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods, including frequent bending, reaching, and kneeling.
