Seafood production depends on fish availability. There may be times when there are fewer hours or no work available. Seattle, Washington is your Point of Hire. You are responsible for getting yourself from your home city to Seattle, Washington . Westward Seafoods will provide your transportation from Seattle to Dutch Harbor, Alaska . Employees are provided company housing and meals. Room and Board is $20 per day when you work 8 hours or more. The charge will be deducted from your paycheck. Our plants process several types of seafood, including: Pollock Crab Pacific Cod Halibut Sablefish Pollock Crab Pacific Cod Halibut Sablefish Depending on production needs, you may be assigned to: Butchering Sorting Filleting Case-up and packaging Plant clean-up Other production duties as assigned Butchering Sorting Filleting Case-up and packaging Plant clean-up Other production duties as assigned You must be willing to work wherever you are needed.
