A Meat and Seafood Processor or Packager works in a processing facility to cut, sort and package meat and seafood for sale to retail or wholesale customers. Processes and packages food according to health and safety guidelines.
Seasonal Processing Plant Personnel (Deer Processing Facility) Cypress Valley Meat Company Full- or Part-Time Employment beginning mid October through December. Hours will vary between 8am-8pm Sunday through Saturday. OVERVIEW & PURPOSE
We are looking for Plant Processing Personnel to dress, skillfully cut, and package meat into retail ready products, ensure quality of all cuts, support operations, and to exceed customer expectations. Cypress Valley is looking for an independent thinker who has a proven track record of improving processes, ensuring food safety and quality, and ensuring an incredible finished product. A successful candidate has the ability to see the big picture while executing on a Cypress Valley operational level to improve overall performance. Additionally, he or she is never satisfied with the status quo. Processing Plant Personnel reports directly to the Room Lead. S/he must develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, suppliers, and customers. Processing Plant Personnel will work in a team approach with the staff, management team, vendor partners, and customers to establish, maintain, measure, and revise Cypress Valley's operational systems. S/he must be a team player who is reliable and understands their dependability is important for the team's success.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED certificate preferred Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus Apprenticeship or specialization is an asset, but not necessary
