Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Production Lead to support the daily operations of our thrift store production team. This hands-on role helps ensure donated merchandise is sorted, processed, priced, and prepared for the sales floor efficiently while meeting quality, productivity, and safety expectations. The Production Lead provides daily direction to employees, monitors workflow and production goals, supports training, and helps maintain an organized and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is a strong team leader who communicates clearly, works well in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys helping employees and the production team succeed.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 1.
Supervising operations within a facility to achieve higher output. 2. Ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards within a facility. 3. Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals. 4. Evaluating various production stations to ensure optimum efficiency. 5. Maintaining communication between employees and senior executives to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood. 6. Ensuring the flow of raw materials and other resources. 7. Keep a constant flow of merchandise flowing and help maintain the pace as established by the Production Manager. 8. Is able to daily perform any of the required job duties within the processing team. This includes all requirements related to accepting donations, sorting, pricing and packaging merchandise. 9. As needed, welcome donors in a timely manner in a way that they feel confident that Sunshine Acres appreciates them and understands their value. 10. As needed, handle the receiving and donation process with the utmost respect and care including, greeting the donor, assisting in unloading donations, telling the Sunshine Acres story, repeating details back to donor and issuing a receipt. 11. Help maintain clean and well-organized reception, pre-sort and processing areas. 12. Maintain clean and well-organized personal processing station. 13. Ability to recognize thrift and boutique quality merchandise and use pricing guide provided to label all merchandise. 14. Safely package stock orders for storage and delivery to Cindy's Dove + Sparrow locations. 15. Always keep merchandise flowing. If you are running low on donations, communicate with the Production Manager to increase flow and jump into sorting. 16. Keep a positive attitude & work as a team to hit the overall processing goal! 17. Report any quality control issues to the Production Manager. 18. Personal cell phone use is to be kept to an absolute minimum and must be done away from the processing floor. 19. Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 1.
Must be detail-oriented and have solid organizational skills. 2. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be a problem solver and be able to work with a minimum of supervision and take initiative. 3. Excellent time management skills. 4. Must possess a demonstrable level of skill and proficiency in planning to meet established goals. 5. Computer skills to include general typing skills. 6. Ability to access web sites to help evaluate the value of donated items. 7. Ability to read and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 8. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED required. 1 years' experience in intake, warehouse, or processing work preferred. 1 years' experience in a team lead position preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS
Full time, Monday through Saturday, 40+ hours per week. Some Saturdays are mandatory. Attendance at specific meetings, off-site events, or training, as required.
