Casting "Sanctuary," a Chapman University student thesis film set at a men's retreat, focusing on a male survivor of sexual abuse who believes that he must force closure alone, until a fellow camper shows him that vulnerability is the path to healing. Looking for day players and extras to enhance the authenticity of the retreat setting. We want to show a group of men of all ages, backgrounds, and ethnicities who camp together in nature. The intention of this film is to raise awareness about male survivors of sexual abuse and portray a healthy side of masculinity that's achieved through human connection.
