Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Production Kitchen Lead /Edibles Manufacturing Lead to run day-to-day operations of our Sacramento production kitchen. This role will oversee staff, manage batch production, ensure accurate dosing and consistency, and maintain compliance with California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) regulations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands edible production at scale and can keep a team efficient, compliant, and dialed in. Key Responsibilities Lead daily production of infused products (gummies, chocolates, baked goods, etc.) Supervise, train, and schedule production staff Execute and oversee infusion processes with precise dosing and homogeneity Ensure all operations remain compliant with DCC regulations and internal SOPs Track all batches, inputs, and outputs in METRC Maintain accurate batch records, logs, and documentation Monitor yields, troubleshoot issues, and reduce waste Enforce cleanliness, sanitation, and GMP standards in the kitchen Coordinate production timelines with management and inventory needs Support R D and help scale new recipes into full production Qualifications 2-5+ years of experience in cannabis manufacturing or food production Prior leadership or supervisory experience required Strong understanding of edible infusion, dosing accuracy, and batch consistency Experience working in a regulated environment (cannabis or food-grade facility) Familiarity with METRC or similar tracking systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced production environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in California Type 6 or Type 7 manufacturing facilities Background in culinary arts, food science, or chemistry Experience scaling recipes for commercial production Knowledge of shelf stability, packaging, and compliance labeling Food Handlers Card Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary (DOE) Growth opportunities within a vertically integrated company Employee product discounts Health Benefits Why Join Us?
