Production Roaster Mast Coffee Co Sacramento, CA Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Food production Food processing Food processing plant experience Manufacturing facility experience Materials handling Full Job Description Production Coffee Roaster Mast Coffee | Sacramento, CA Mast Coffee is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Production Coffee Roaster to join our roasting and production team in Sacramento. This is a hands-on production position focused on consistently roasting high-quality coffee, maintaining production standards, and helping keep our roastery organized, efficient, and running smoothly. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in consistency and quality, and can follow established production processes while continuing to develop their knowledge of coffee and roasting. What You'll Do Roast coffee according to established profiles, production schedules, and quality standards Weigh, load, roast, cool, and handle green and roasted coffee Monitor roast data and make sure batches meet established specifications Complete production and roast logs accurately Assist with cupping and quality-control evaluations Prepare roasted coffee for packaging and wholesale production Delivery Maintain inventory of green and roasted coffee Help receive, organize, and move green coffee and production materials Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance of roasting and production equipment Keep the roasting and production areas clean, organized, and food-safe Identify inconsistencies or equipment issues and communicate them promptly Assist with other roastery and production tasks as needed What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and consistency Dependable and punctual Comfortable working independently and as part of a small production team Able to follow detailed procedures and production schedules Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment Able to repeatedly lift and move bags, boxes, and coffee weighing approximately 50 lbs Good organizational and record-keeping skills Interest in specialty coffee and learning more about roasting and production Previous coffee roasting, manufacturing, food production, warehouse, or similar production experience is a plus Previous roasting experience is helpful but not necessarily required for the right candidate. We value reliability, attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn. We care deeply about coffee quality, hospitality, and producing an excellent product consistently.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
