Responsibilities/Requirements:

Reliable and punctual; self-starter, able to work efficiently with and without direct supervision. Great time management and fast and efficient completion of tasks. The Bagel Roller ensures consistency in bagel preparation according to the "Rosenberg's Bagel Torah." Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to co-workers and management. Solid verbal and written communication skills. Able to learn techniques that Jewish bakers have been using for over a hundred years, forming the dough for the bakers, which includes dividing, shaping, and proofing all bagel products. Must be accurate in shaping and proofing to ensure consistency and quality in daily production. Clean work areas, equipment and utensils. Remove trash and recycling. Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner including mixers, dividers, proofers, and all other equipment. Follow and comply with established procedures, including health and sanitation as well as Kosher procedures, and adhere to safe work practices. Good hand-eye coordination. Bakery experience preferred but not required. Able to work a flexible schedule based on need including nights, weekends and holidays as required. Able to stand on their feet for long periods of time. Can lift 50+ lbs. This position will include advancement opportunities for the right candidate, as well as competitive pay and a benefit package based on experience.
