JOB DESCRIPTION

The Production Lead will be on 1st shift and will report directly to the Production Supervisor. This role is responsible for the execution of the Production Schedule. This position serves as backup though training to Operator and General Labor duties as well as some Production Manager Duties as training and needs dictate. This position will work in an FDA regulated and

SQF FSMA

compliant facility, experience with this is a plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Review Production Schedule and plan out Daily Labor, Equipment and Process needs. Conduct daily meetings with team. Mechanical aptitude required. Work with R&D on line trials for innovation or renovation of products or processes. Develop or improve SOP's and Best Practices. Works with FSQA to ensure compliant records and activities. Works with Suply Chain for movement of materials in line with production needs. Track and evaluate Production run metrics with team and supervisor/manager. Participate in required SQF Compliance activities including internal and external audits. Flexibility to other activities as needed in a growth environment.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 1 year of production leadership experience. Must have strong analytical, trouble-shooting and communication (written and verbal) skills. Must be self-directed, team-oriented and able to evaluate and effectively handle multiple priorities. Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation in order to best serve multiple internal and external customer relationships. English/Spanish (Bi-Lingual a +)
