Job Description
Description Embrex Crew Hourly At Pilgrim's, Safety Is A Condition, which means the safety of our team members comes first - always. Description
- This position is responsible for performing various tasks in the hatchery while following all Company Safety and Animal Welfare Policies. Primary responsibility is overseeing the Embrex transfer process of the hatchery.
- Oversee the egg transfer process.
- Ability to mix vaccine by following the SOP.
- Start up and Shut Down of transfer equipment.
- Ability to keep up with vaccine and supplies inventory and let management know when vaccine or supplies need to be ordered
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain cleanliness and organization storage areas, embrex equipment, work area.
- Document machine status and perform light maintenance as required.
- All other duties as assigned by management. What You'll Need
Education:
High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in related field preferred.Experience:
1 or more years of previous supervisory experience with leadership skills of 20+ employees preferred. Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.Skills:
Effective communication both orally and in writing, capable of independent decision making, must have basic computer knowledge, ability to manage multiple priorities.- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
