This role is essential to the smooth operation, accuracy and tracking of whole fish inventory for production and processing operations. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Position works in cold environment with seafood production team. Position will be responsible for assisting in all operations, receiving and putting to bed new product, and managing inventory board of fresh fish. Will assist with pack out.

Production Support:
Assist in preparing fish for processing, including sorting, weighing, and labeling. Collaborate with production teams to meet daily quotas and deadlines. Ensure proper storage of fish in temperature-controlled environments to maintain freshness.
Workplace Maintenance:
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety and sanitation standards. Operate equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently, if required. Dispose of waste and byproducts responsibly, adhering to environmental and company policies.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in seafood handling, processing, or inventory management is preferred but we train. Must be OK working with seafood and in cold environment. Ability to work in cold environments and lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with food safety regulations and handling procedures. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
