Full-Time & Project-Based (Seasonal/Temporary) Job Summary Gem State Staffing is immediately hiring motivated Food Production Workers to join our team at the Idaho Plant in Caldwell, Idaho. Employees will be assigned to various essential roles throughout the potato production facility. This is a great opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and are looking for consistent work with competitive pay. We are hiring for both Day Shift and Night Shift positions.
Pay Rates Day Shift:
6:00 AM•6:00 PM → $16.00 per hour
Night Shift:
6:00 PM•6:00 AM → $19.00 per hour Key Requirements Must be comfortable working in a refrigerated/cold environment (this is essential) Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work as part of a team in a production setting Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check No previous experience required•training will be provided Job Duties (will vary by assignment) Sorting, inspecting, and processing potatoes Operating and monitoring production line equipment Packaging finished products Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards (following GMPs and HACCP guidelines) Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 36 lbs as needed Other duties as assigned within the facility What We Offer Consistent full-time or project-based hours Weekly pay Opportunities for overtime Safe and clean work environment On-site training Potential for long-term placement or rehire This is a physically demanding role in a temperature-controlled facility.
