Bell Overhaul Technician - Full Time
Nampa Valley Heli-Services
Nampa Valley Heli-Services has an immediate opening for a full-time Bell Overhaul Technician. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of aircraft components.
Responsibilities:
Component Technicians at Nampa Valley Heli-Services perform overhauls, inspections, and repairs on Bell 206, 407, 205, 212 and 412 components. Duties include ensuring compliance with FAA Airworthiness Directives, manufacturer Service Bulletins, approved modifications, and troubleshooting to maintain continued airworthiness.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Performing component overhauls, inspections, and repairs in accordance with approved data
Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of maintenance tasks
Adhering to all applicable aviation regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols
Maintaining accurate maintenance records, including parts used, work performed, and inspections completed
Participating in training programs and staying current with industry advancements
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and optimize maintenance procedures
Requirements
FAA Airframe and Powerplant license (current with no enforcement action)
Extensive experience with Bell Helicopters 206 series / 407 series aircraft components
Experience in an
FAA CFR 145 MRO
setting
Experience with aircraft and component records
Bell Helicopter factory component school (preferred)
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and ensure a smooth workflow. Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with FAA regulations and maintenance documentation
Position requirements:
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including ability to understand, read, and write in English
Ability to work as a team member to meet component work schedules
Must be able to work legally within the United States
Willing and able to pass a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
Ability to pass DOT Drug / Alcohol test
A high level of mental alertness Familiarity with

Repair Station requirements and operations. Must be able to lift 80 lbs (occasionally)
Must be able to work independently and as a team Must be able to climb, stand on ladders / work platforms, bend, squat, crawl as required
M-F 8-5 work schedule / 40 hr week (overtime as required)
Hangar / indoor working environment
Minimum Education requirement:
High school diploma or GED
Physical Requirements
Must be able to walk and lift up to 85 lbs repeatedly., or assist with team lifts of up to 150 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of time, Perform prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, and climbing stairs, ladders and work stands
Must be able to work independently. Ability to manage time and duties.
