Experienced Trimmer & Pre-Roll Technician Emerald Gardens Cannabis Company South Chicago Heights, Illinois About Emerald Gardens Cannabis Company Emerald Gardens Cannabis Company is a craft cannabis cultivator focused on producing high-quality flower and finished cannabis products with consistency, attention to detail, and pride in the cultivation process. We are looking for experienced cannabis professionals who share our commitment to quality and want to be part of a hands-on craft growing operation. Position Overview Emerald Gardens Cannabis Company is seeking an experienced Trimmer & Pre-Roll Technician to join our production team. This position is responsible for the efficient and meticulous trimming, processing, and preparation of cannabis flower for pre-roll production while maintaining Emerald Gardens' quality standards. The ideal candidate has previous commercial cannabis trimming and/or pre-roll experience, understands the importance of consistency and cleanliness, and can maintain productivity without sacrificing product quality. Key Responsibilities Trim cannabis flower accurately and efficiently according to company quality standards. Hand-trim and/or operate approved trimming equipment as assigned. Prepare cannabis flower for pre-roll production Produce consistent, properly filled, and properly packaged pre-rolls. Inspect flower and finished products for quality, appearance, consistency, and defects. Remove stems, excess leaf material, and unusable plant material as appropriate. Maintain accurate production counts, weights, and batch documentation. Follow all Illinois cannabis regulations, company policies, and required compliance procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout the production process. Properly clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and work surfaces. Work efficiently to meet daily production goals and deadlines. Communicate quality issues, equipment problems, and production concerns to supervisors. Follow established SOPs and contribute to a consistent, repeatable production process. Assist with other cultivation and post-harvest duties as needed.
