Fish Processing and Packaging Associate Vita Food Products, Inc. | Production Department Vita Food Products is hiring Production Associates to cut, prepare, and pack fish at our food manufacturing facility. This hands-on position requires careful knife work, attention to product quality, and the ability to maintain a steady production pace. Responsibilities Cut, trim, and portion fish by hand according to product specifications. Inspect fish for quality and report any concerns to a supervisor. Weigh, pack, and label products according to production instructions. Check packages for accurate weights, proper seals, and correct labels. Keep knives, tools, equipment, and work areas clean and sanitary. Follow food safety, GMP, PPE, and workplace safety procedures. Work with the production team to complete daily orders accurately and on time. Qualifications Comfortable handling raw fish and performing repetitive knife work. Able to stand throughout the shift and work in a refrigerated production environment. Able to follow instructions and work safely at a production pace. Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work well with a team. Fish processing, seafood, meat cutting, or food production experience is preferred.

Basic math skills for measuring detergents, calculating quantities, or managing inventory levels. Familiarity with safety standards in production environments to ensure personal safety and compliance with regulations. Customer service orientation to support team collaboration and communicate effectively with colleagues. Attention to detail in textile cleaning processes to ensure garments are handled carefully without damage or contamination.
