Job Description

Grain Operations | Rochelle, IL and surrounding towns | Seasonal through end of November | Valid Driver License required Job Summary Monday through Sunday 12 hour shift 6:45a to 7:00p $18.00/ hour RT $27.00/ hour OT - up to 50 hours of OT available weekly Join our dynamic Grain Operations team and become a vital part of ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality grain handling processes. In this role, you will oversee the movement, storage, and processing of grains, supporting our commitment to excellence in agriculture and food production. Your proactive approach and attention to safety will help maintain smooth operations while adhering to industry standards. This position offers a lot of overtime as we are in peak season and working up to 50 hours of overtime a week. Duties Operate grain handling equipment such as conveyors and loaders with precision and safety awareness Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, material transfer, and equipment setup to ensure efficient workflow Follow strict safety protocols during all operations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety standards in production environments Assist with grain storage, loading, unloading, and quality control processes in accordance with industry regulations Use basic math skills for measurements, inventory counts, and quality assessments while maintaining accurate records Must be able to work Monday through Sunday weather permitting Experience Desire or experience in grain operations, farming or grain handling environment is highly preferred Familiarity with safety standards in manufacturing or food processing environments ensures compliance and safe work practices Previous roles involving manual handling, heavy lifting, or farming activities demonstrate physical capability for demanding tasks Basic math proficiency supports accurate inventory management and quality control procedures Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to operational excellence!
