Job Objective:

To provide a seamless, high quality experience for donors and customers by processing donated goods efficiently and accurately throughout the donation lifecycle. This position supports store operations by receiving, sorting, evaluating, preparing, and pricing donated merchandise for sale while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards . Essential Job Functions:

DRIVE THRU

RECEIVING

)

Reception:

Accept donations and empty out the donation shed; load and unload trucks.

Sorting:

Separate donations into clothing, wares, salvage, and trash.

Logistics:

Switch out full trays and sleeves for empty ones with proper labeling.

Product Knowledge:

Maintain expert knowledge of acceptable versus unacceptable donations.

WARES PROCESSOR

Cross Training:

Must be fully proficient in all Drive Thru duties.

Production:

Process and price incoming donations; identify "Ecommerce worthy" items.

Valuation:

Demonstrate knowledge of brands and market value to maximize revenue.

CLOTHING PROCESSOR

Quality Control:

Differentiate between sellable clothing, salvage, and linens.

Standardization:

Ticket and hang clothing correctly using established standards (left sleeve, correct hanger type).

Production Goals:

Meet production goal of 100 items per rack while maintaining quality.

Logistics:

Pull clothing boxes, refill hangers, and organize racks by floor categories.

Provide excellent service to every donor and shopper.

Keep all areas safe, clean, and hazard free.

Resources Usage:

Use approved AI tools and other company resources to help determine fair and accurate prices for donated items, including clothing and wares .

Perform other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by leadership.

Required Education and Skills:

Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow schedules, guidelines, and safety protocols. Excellent customer service and communication skills, demonstrating professionalism with donors, customers, and coworkers. Ability to work efficiently in fast paced environments while maintaining accuracy, organization, and quality standards. Working knowledge of donation processing standards, and safety practices such as proper lifting and hazard awareness. Ability to quickly learn and apply policies, make accurate decisions, and adapt to changing tasks or priorities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team. Basic literacy, numeracy, mechanical, and problem solving skills.

Qualifications:

Authorized to work in the United States. Flexible availability. Able to frequently bend, twist, reach above shoulder level, push and pull, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Equipment certifications as needed.
