PRODUCTION HOURLY

General Summary:

JBS is seeking quality, motivated people to join the JBS team. This role will involve working on a production line and performing tasks that require safe and responsible handling of knives. Ideal candidates thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment and are looking for a role with strong potential for growth.

Responsibilities:

Use assortment of knives, steel, and a hook to perform job tasks Maintain sharpness of knives and develop effective knife-sharpening skills Operate heavy equipment Bag and Box product Properly utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Expected to work, hands on, at a high speed and lift over 50 lbs Maintain clean work areas and adhere to all food safety protocols Must adhere to JBS specifications in product to ensure quality of meat Prepare meat for packing, which may include shaving or washing Inspect meat or meat products and/or packaging Remain alert to surroundings and properly report hazards to a supervisor Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Experience in production settings preferred Prior work in a manufacturing environment preferred Ability to work safely around chemicals, machinery, and knives Comfortable working in conditions with slippery floors, extreme temperatures, and loud noise Ability to work 40+ hours Strong attendance and safety records Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation The Company is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our team members and visitors.
