Position Summary The Production Lead - 1st Shift is a hands-on leadership position primarily responsible for coordinating and supporting the daily packaging operations of the Post-Production team. This position reports directly to the Production Manager and works alongside packaging staff to ensure finished products are accurately converted, packaged, labeled, tracked, and completed according to the production schedule and Company standards. The Lead is responsible for METRC product and tag conversions, label preparation and printing, packaging workflow, and oversight of packaging processes, while also providing hands-on support with cone and pre-roll production as needed. This position helps provide daily direction to Post-Production staff, monitors accuracy and workflow, and communicates issues or production needs to management. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Packaging & Production Leadership Lead and work alongside the Post-Production team in the packaging of finished cannabis products. Coordinate daily packaging priorities based on the production schedule established by management. Provide day-to-day direction and support to Post-Production staff to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently. Monitor packaging workflow, quality, and productivity throughout the shift. Ensure finished products are packaged according to established product specifications and Company standards. Support cone production and pre-roll production as needed to meet production goals. Train and assist team members with proper packaging procedures, equipment, and established processes. Communicate production progress, delays, staffing needs, or other concerns to the Packaging & Logistics Manager. Job responsibilities ca change at any time to fit the needs of the business. METRC, Labels & Inventory Perform and maintain accurate product and METRC tag conversions for finished goods. Ensure METRC and Dutchie information associated with packaged products is accurate and properly maintained. Print and prepare product labels and vanity stickers according to the production schedule. Verify product information, labels, weights, quantities, and packaging for accuracy prior to completion. Enter required testing and product information into Dutchie. Accurately weigh, record, and track cannabis throughout the packaging process. Assist with physical inventory counts and reconciliation of Post-Production cannabis and packaging materials. Identify and promptly report inventory, labeling, METRC, or product discrepancies. Compliance & Quality Oversee packaging processes to ensure Company procedures and applicable CCC requirements are consistently followed. Maintain clean, organized, and compliant packaging and Post-Production work areas. Ensure cannabis and finished goods are properly handled, identified, stored, and secured. Monitor packaging materials and supplies and communicate replenishment needs. Immediately escalate product quality, labeling, inventory, compliance, or safety concerns to management. Support overall facility cleanliness and sanitation. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous cannabis, packaging, manufacturing, or post-production experience preferred. METRC and/or Dutchie experience strongly preferred, with the ability to become proficient in both systems. Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and basic math skills. Ability to provide daily direction, train employees, prioritize work, and maintain production standards. Dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working hands-on alongside the team. Physical & Additional Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to obtain and maintain a Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission Agent Registration. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive production and packaging tasks. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and perform other movements associated with production work. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds independently and up to 125 pounds with assistance. Must comply with all Company policies, SOPs, safety requirements, required training, and applicable CCC regulations.

Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
