Our client in Fall River, Massachusetts, is seeking reliable and detail-oriented seafood processors to join their seafood production team. This role is responsible for processing, packing, and preparing a variety of seafood products while maintaining quality and food safety standards. Responsibilities of a
Seafood Processor:
Process and prepare scallops, shrimp, fish, and other seafood products. Pack raw and ready-to-eat seafood products according to company standards. Inspect seafood products for quality, appearance, and proper packaging. Assist with labeling, weighing, and packaging products. Follow HACCP, GMP, sanitation, and food safety procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow all company safety and production procedures. Assist with other seafood processing duties as needed. Qualifications for
Seafood Processor:
Previous food production, seafood processing, or packaging experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced, cold environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to work with both raw and ready-to-eat seafood products. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Cold, refrigerated seafood processing environment. Frequent standing for extended periods and repetitive hand movements. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Exposure to seafood products, moisture, and food processing equipment. Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
