Feed Mill Manager
Job Description
Feed Mill Manager We're looking for an experienced Feed Mill Manager to run our feed production facility. You'll oversee day-to-day operations, keep things running safely, and make sure the feed we produce is high quality. What you'll do: You'll manage daily milling and grain handling operations, and supervise equipment use and maintenance. You'll enforce safety rules, especially around lifting and heavy machinery. You'll track inventory of grains and other raw materials, train and lead the mill team, and inspect and maintain equipment to avoid breakdowns. You'll make sure we follow food safety regulations, look for ways to work more efficiently, and operate equipment like forklifts and tanker trucks. You'll also keep records of production, safety issues, and maintenance. What we're looking for: Experience working in a feed mill or grain processing plant is a must. A farming or agriculture background helps. You should understand how machinery works and be able to troubleshoot problems. Experience running forklifts, handling heavy loads, and operating food processing equipment is a plus. You need to know basic safety practices for manufacturing environments, be comfortable with basic math for inventory and quality checks, and experience with grain systems or tanker trucks is a bonus.
