Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented individuals to fill the Debone, Bagging, and Shovel Production Positions in our food processing plant (and many more open positions related to production needs). These roles are essential to our operations, ensuring high-quality meat products are prepared, packaged, and shipped efficiently and safely. The ideal candidates will be proactive team players with a strong focus on food safety, regulatory compliance, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. This is a paid position suitable for those eager to develop skills in meat processing and food production within a dynamic environment. Duties Carefully debone meat products following established procedures and safety standards. Operate bagging equipment to package meat products accurately while maintaining product integrity. Use shovels and other tools to move raw or processed materials within the production area efficiently. Adhere to all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocols. Follow USDA regulations and other legal standards related to food safety management throughout all stages of production. Properly utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times to prevent contamination or injury. Assist with packaging finished products securely for shipment, ensuring label accuracy and quality control. Support team members during shift changes or busy periods to meet production goals efficiently. Experience Prior experience in food processing plants, meat cutting, or related manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, and USDA regulations is preferred. Familiarity with OSHA safety protocols and sanitation procedures in a food production setting. Mechanical knowledge related to processing equipment operation is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided. Strong knife skills or butchery experience will be advantageous for deboning tasks. Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
