Job Summary Position Description:
Wilcox Farms is hiring an Egg Processing Plant Supervisor to join our team in Great Falls, MT. In this role you will oversee daily operations within our egg processing facility. This role supports production efficiency, food safety, quality assurance, and employee supervision while ensuring eggs are processed, packaged, and distributed according to company and regulatory standards. Supervise daily egg processing and packaging operations. Load eggs from poultry houses onto processing equipment. Monitor egg washing, candling, grading, and packaging processes. Ensure quality standards are maintained and damaged eggs are removed from production. Oversee palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and movement of finished products to coolers or shipping areas. Maintain HACCP, GMP, USDA, and company food safety requirements. Assist with employee scheduling, training, performance management, and hiring activities. Address employee concerns and help resolve workplace issues professionally. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized processing environment. Support continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned. This job is for you if you have:
Required:
3-5 years of supervisory experience in agriculture, food production, poultry, egg processing, manufacturing, or a related industry. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working with harsh chemicals. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment. Preferred Experience in egg processing, poultry production, food manufacturing, or agricultural operations. Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, USDA regulations, and quality control procedures. Commercial sanitation experience and knowledge. Spanish language skills. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequently lift and move up to 80 pounds. Bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as needed. Work safely around cleaning chemicals and sanitizing agents. Work Environment Food processing facility with moderate to loud noise levels. Temperatures generally ranging from 60-85°F. Moderate to heavy physical activity throughout the workday. Frequent interaction with employees, supervisors, inspectors, and regulatory personnel.
