Overview:

We are seeking an evening meat department closer in our famous Butcher Block Meat Department. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and general cleaning/closing responsibilities. Our closing shifts are generally 4-9 with rotating (could be permanent) Sundays from 10-6:30 or 12-6:30. Experience is not necessary as the position does not require cutting meat. If you are interested in learning the trade while in the closer role

• the opportunity is available.

There is room to grow if desired.

Duties:

• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
• Package and label meats for storage or sale
• Maintain inventory of meat products and report any shortages or quality issues
• Collaborate with other meat staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
• Previous experience in a restaurant or food production setting preferred
• Ability to handle and prepare meat products with precision
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure consistent quality
• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and prioritize tasks
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
