| MUST BE 18+ Kewpee Hamburgers is looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to join our production team! This position plays an important role in preparing the fresh food products used in our restaurants while also supporting daily restaurant operations and providing excellent service to our customers. The Meat & Production Team Member will be trained in meat preparation, equipment operation, sanitation, production, deliveries, and other essential tasks. While this position includes significant behind-the-scenes production work, you will also regularly work face-to-face with our customers and are expected to provide friendly, professional service. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, takes pride in their work, and is willing to learn new skills. What You'll Do Meat & Food Production Learn and perform meat cutting according to company standards and specifications Operate meat grinders and other production equipment after receiving proper training Produce hamburger patties according to restaurant specifications Learn proper operation and assembly of production machinery Perform routine machine maintenance and identify equipment issues Properly clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and work areas Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards Receive, handle, and put away deliveries Maintain an organized, clean, and sanitary production area Work efficiently to ensure restaurants have the products they need Restaurant & Customer Service Duties This is not a strictly behind-the-scenes production position. You will regularly interact directly with our customers and represent Kewpee Hamburgers while working in the restaurant.
Responsibilities may include:
Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service Take customer orders and accurately process transactions Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers Prepare and cook food according to company standards Assemble and package customer orders Maintain clean and organized work areas Address customer questions and concerns in a courteous and professional manner Work as part of a team to provide an excellent customer experience Perform other duties as needed to support restaurant operations Schedule Full-time position Minimum of 4 days per week Typical shift starts at 4:30 AM Weekend availability is required Flexible days available based on business needs and availability Must be comfortable consistently working an early-morning schedule Employees working weekends and select holidays receive an additional $4.00/hour shift premium What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, friendly, and willing to learn. Must be at least 18 years old Previous meat-cutting experience of 6 months is preferred, but not required Willingness to learn meat cutting, equipment operation, production procedures, and food safety standards Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining good attendance Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to accept coaching and feedback Able to follow detailed instructions and consistently meet company standards Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Previous restaurant, food service, or production experience is helpful but not required Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding, hands-on position.

Lift and carry up to 50 pounds Stand and walk for extended periods of time Bend, twist, squat, and kneel regularly Repeatedly use hands, arms, and upper body to perform production tasks Work in refrigerated areas for extended periods of time Safely operate and work around production equipment after receiving proper training Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Pay & Benefits Starting pay: $15.00/hour + $4.00/hour shift premium for weekends and select holidays Starting pay may be adjusted based on relevant experience and qualifications.
