Production Manager (Confidential)Job Summary An established and fast-growing product line and production company is seeking an experienced, full-time Production Manager to oversee daily operations at our facility in Tigard, OR. We distribute a vast array of high-quality products to retail stores across the state. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who excels in a fast-paced environment, maintains strict compliance standards, and efficiently manages a production team.

Job Type:
Full-time, Salaried Pay Range:
$65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (8-hour shift)
Work Location:
In person (Tigard, OR) Responsibilities and Duties The following duties are standard for this position but are not exclusive; other tasks may be assigned as needed:
Schedule Coordination:
Take direction from the Production Director regarding the active production schedule.
Team Delegation:
Assign and delegate specific production and packaging tasks to staff members based on schedule priorities.
Team Leadership & Personnel Management:
Oversee the full lifecycle of the production staff, including interviewing and hiring new team members, conducting performance evaluations, providing ongoing coaching, and executing disciplinary actions or terminations as necessary.
Floor Management:
Troubleshoot day-to-day logistical or operational issues that arise on the production floor to maintain steady workflows.
Continuous Improvement:
Help identify and implement opportunities for workflow and efficiency improvements.
Data Entry:
Accurately enter production batch information and tracking details into our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
Efficiency Oversight:
Ensure all production and packaging processes are executed as quickly, safely, and efficiently as possible.
Facility Maintenance:
Assist in keeping the production space exceptionally clean, sanitary, and organized.
General Support:
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills Age Requirement:
Must be 21 years of age or older to comply with state regulatory requirements.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Management Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role.
Preferred experience:
Experience leading a team in a regulated production environment.
Core Competencies:
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a self-starter attitude.
Adaptability:
Proven ability to multitask, work quickly under pressure, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing circumstances without notice.
Technical Skills:
Intermediate knowledge of standard office productivity suites (e.g., Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office). Experience with industry-standard ERP, CRM, and track-and-trace platforms is preferred but not required.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
Communication:
Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently and communicate effectively with team members.
Compliance & Safety:
Ability to thoroughly understand and comply with strict sanitation and safety regulations.
Problem-Solving:
Strong ability to respond to and troubleshoot production issues in real-time.
Benefits & Compensation Salary:
$65,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually
