Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Slicer in the food service industry, where your precision and culinary skills will help deliver fresh, high-quality sandwiches to delighted customers. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly slicing meats to ensure consistent quality and presentation. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will contribute to a clean, efficient kitchen environment and exceptional customer experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary expertise while working in a fast-paced, energetic setting. We're hiring a dedicated Slicer to handle all meat prep for the store. This is a focused, behind-the-scenes role — no sandwich assembly, no customer interaction. What you'll do: Slice deli meats to order throughout the day Portion and store sliced meats properly Keep the slicer, knives, and prep area clean and sanitized Restock meat inventory and rotate stock Follow food safety and portioning standards What we're looking for: Comfortable operating a commercial meat slicer Attention to detail and consistency Consistent speed Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 30 pounds Food handler's permit preferred, or willingness to obtain one Must be at least 18 years old
Pay:
$14/hour plus tips
