This energetic position involves preparing, mixing, and grinding ingredients to produce flavorful sausages in accordance with food safety regulations and manufacturing best practices. You will be instrumental in ensuring efficient production flow while maintaining sanitation, safety, and compliance with all regulatory standards. Duties Operate grinding and mixing equipment to prepare sausage ingredients according to specified recipes and quality standards Follow FDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and other safety standards to ensure product safety and compliance Manage sanitation procedures before, during, and after production shifts to uphold strict hygiene standards in the sausage room Monitor production processes closely, ensuring adherence to food safety management systems and packaging specifications Document production activities accurately using SAP or similar manufacturing management systems Assist in maintaining continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements Collaborate with team members and supervisors to manage production schedules, ensure regulatory/legal compliance standards are met, and uphold quality assurance protocols within the food processing environment Experience Previous experience in food production or manufacturing management within a food processing plant is highly preferred Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, GMP, and food safety management systems is essential Demonstrated ability to operate food processing equipment safely and efficiently Experience with SAP or other manufacturing management software is advantageous Strong understanding of quality standards in production, sanitation practices, and safety standards in a food industry setting Basic math skills for measurements, recipe adjustments, and quality checks are required Join us in delivering top-tier food products by ensuring every step of sausage room production meets our high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.
