SoCo Ginger Beer and Comet Juice is looking for an organized, efficient, and team-oriented lead for our beverage production team! This is a hands-on, on-the-floor role. You'll run production and packaging alongside the team, keep the day on schedule, train new staff, ensure food safety and quality standards are met, and back up the Production Manager on scheduling, inventory, and equipment. Comet Juice:

preparation and juicing of fruits and vegetables, operating the juicing equipment, CO2 and brite tanks, bottling machine, and labeling machine Setting up the day's run, assigning tasks, and keeping the team on pace; acting as point person on the floor when the Production Manager is out Training new production staff and keeping the team on recipes and procedures Maintaining and cleaning juicing equipment, hydraulic juice press, and other warehouse equipment daily, and making sure the team does the same Ensuring compliance with all cleanliness and food safety requirements, including daily production and sanitation logs Assisting the Production Manager with produce ordering, inventory counts, and equipment upkeep Qualifications Food handling and preparation experience required; kitchen, brewery, or production lead experience strongly preferred Food Handler's certification required (Food Manager's certification a plus) Comfortable directing a small crew and communicating clearly Reliable transportation Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds Experience and know-how in using kitchen equipment and tools, or brewing machinery Comfortable working in a small, noisy, fast-paced small business environment Schedule Monday-Saturday, 5 days a week, day shifts Benefits PTO Free juice and drinks (A note or cover letter about yourself and why you think you are a good fit for this position goes a long way toward standing out!)

$23.00 - $27.00 per hour
