The Goode Company Commissary supports our restaurants and direct-to-customer operations through consistent production, careful handling, and reliable fulfillment. The Role The Pecan Pie Prep helps produce Goode Company's signature pecan pies with consistent recipes, careful handling, and pride in a long-standing company tradition. What You'll Do Prepare pie components and finished products according to recipes, production plans, and quality standards. Scale, mix, fill, bake, cool, inspect, package, label, and stage products as assigned. Monitor appearance, texture, weight, yield, temperatures, rotation, and waste. Use bakery tools and commercial equipment safely and report concerns promptly. Maintain clean, organized, food-safe work areas and protect allergen controls. What You'll Bring Bakery, pastry, kitchen, production, packing, or other detail-oriented experience is helpful. Ability to follow recipes, measurements, sequences, and quality checks consistently. Reliability, sanitation awareness, teamwork, and comfort with repetitive production tasks. Food Handler Certification Physical & Schedule Requirements Stand and move for extended periods in production, packing, storage, and fulfillment areas. Frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive handling or preparation tasks. Regularly lift and carry up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance when needed. Work safely around commercial equipment, loading areas, wet floors, refrigerated storage, heat, and changing temperatures. Maintain availability for production-driven schedules that may include early mornings, weekends, holidays, and seasonal peak periods.
