Pete's Greens is looking for dependable, hardworking people to join our Washhouse and Vegetable Packing Crew . This is a year-round, indoor position focused on preparing our organic vegetables for CSA members and wholesale customers. Daily work includes washing, trimming, sorting, weighing, packing, and organizing vegetables as part of a busy and collaborative crew. We are looking for people who enjoy physical work, work well with others, and take pride in doing a job carefully and efficiently. Previous farm or vegetable experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are happy to train people who are reliable, willing to learn, and ready to work hard. What You'll Do Wash, trim, sort, weigh, and pack organic vegetables Prepare vegetable orders for CSA shares and wholesale customers Check produce for quality and follow packing standards Keep work areas clean, organized, and food-safe Lift and move crates, bins, and boxes of vegetables throughout the day Work closely with other crew members to complete daily packing and production goals Learn new tasks and assist with other washhouse work as needed We're Looking for Someone Who Is Reliable and punctual Hardworking and comfortable with a physically active job Able to work efficiently while still paying attention to detail A good communicator and team member Willing to learn new skills and take direction Attentive to vegetable quality and packing accuracy Comfortable working in a busy production environment Comfortable with basic math, including weighing, counting, and quantities Able to frequently lift approximately 25-30 lbs , with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs Good-humored and willing to pitch in wherever needed An interest in farming, local food, or organic vegetables is a plus, but the most important things to us are reliability, teamwork, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Schedule This is a year-round position , and we are open to both regular full-time employees and people who are looking to work particular days of the week.

Monday:

8:00 AM-4:30

PM Tuesday:

7:00 AM-4:30

PM Wednesday:

Variable and often a day off

Thursday:

8:00 AM-4:30

PM Friday:

Pay:
