We strive to produce a superior product that speaks for itself in nutritional value, freshness, and flavor. Weekly harvest occur year round without the use of any pesticides or herbicides.

Position:

Full Time 40-45 hours per week. Minimum 8 horus per day. Occasional Saturday shifts will be required. Pay Commensurate with experience As we expand, we are looking for a full-time Hydroponic Grower in the Milwaukee, WI area. The Hydroponic farmer is responsible for the production of leafy greens in our indoor controlled environment container farms. This is a fast-paced production environment with areas of focus include seeding, transplanting, harvesting, quality control of greens, packaging, and cleaning the work and growing areas. This position requires a flexible work schedule which may entail occasional longer workdays, occasional weekend and holiday shifts. Ideal candidates are willing to work a Monday-Friday shift. One 3 hour weekend shift is required per month. Must Haves Desire to make an impact in the community and has a passion for sustainability. Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours. Dedication to our mission. Team player, strong communicator, able to carry out directions and work independently. Experience with mechanical and HVAC will per highly valued. High attention to detail in an evolving, fast-paced environment. Ability to consistently lift 30-40 lbs. Experience with Quickbooks, MS Office, and Google Drive productivity is a plus. Drug and smoke free work environment at all times. What You'll Do Responsible for all aspects of production to grow leafy greens: verifying quality of products, quality control, packaging, weighing, and caseing the product. Responsible for day-to-day operation of pods: harvesting, transplanting, cleaning, upkeep, and general maintenance. Loading product, both into the cold storage area and into the transportation vehicle. Reporting observations, including plant abnormalities, and system issues to a farm supervisor. Develop and discuss alternative and innovative strategies for indoor farming, food safety, and daily maintenance. Occasional computer tracking and data entry. Perform all tasks while upholding high safety and food safety standards. This position requires occasional manual labor that includes but is not limited to: Standing for long periods of time. Cleaning farm equipment. Occasional use of ladders. Working in a wet and/or cool environment.
