Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transit location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist passengers and staff, and communicate clearly while responding to concerns. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding grounds. Respond to incidents, disturbances, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of transit buildings, platforms, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor access to restricted areas and report unauthorized entry, hazards, damaged property, and other security-related issues according to established reporting procedures. Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, and communicate professionally with dispatch, site personnel, law enforcement, and members of the public.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
