Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Fare Enforcement in Denver, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transit location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a public transit location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicle access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate transit personnel and/or emergency responders as needed. Monitor access points and public areas, report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations, and complete accurate incident and daily activity reports. Assist with crowd management and provide directions or information to support orderly passenger flow during routine operations, service disruptions, and special events.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least one year of security-related experience. Pepper spray certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Handcuffing certification is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
