Job Description
Join our beach staff at Maita'i Catamaran in Waikiki! We're looking for a bright and confident individual who loves the outdoors and beautiful beaches. As a Passenger Service Agent, working at our beach desk, you'll ensure the smooth and safe operation of our top-rated catamaran tours. Beach Agent responsibilities include managing bookings, handling transactions, welcoming guests, ensuring safety, and sharing the aloha spirit with all visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of beachfront tour desk.
- Manage catamaran tour bookings via phone and website.
- Process cash and card transactions for bookings and sales.
- Greet and check-in guests, provide safety instructions.
- Assist with boarding and give safety briefings.
- Monitor weather for passenger and crew safety.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience in tourism or hospitality preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a positive attitude.
- Passion for the ocean, marine life, and local history.
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Lift up to 25 pounds.
- Exposure to sun, wind, and water.
Working Conditions:
The role involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including sun, wind, and rain. Work will include time at our beach desk. Flexible hours of availability, including weekends and holidays, are required.Job Types:
