What You'll Do:
Supervise students during bus transportation Promote safe and respectful behavior Assist the driver in maintaining a positive environment Support students as needed during transportation

  • Assist the bus driver in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during transportation.
  • Help students get on and off the bus safely, ensuring they are seated and secured properly.
  • Monitor student behavior and maintain a safe and orderly environment on the bus.
  • Communicate with the bus driver, school staff, and parents regarding any concerns or incidents that may arise during transportation.
  • Follow established procedures for emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid. Qualifications
  • Education:
    High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience:
    Previous experience working with students or in a childcare setting is preferred.
  • Behavior Management:
    Ability to effectively manage student behavior and maintain a positive and respectful environment on the bus.
  • First Aid:
    Knowledge of basic first aid procedures and ability to respond to medical emergencies if needed.
  • Special Education:
    Familiarity with special education needs and accommodations for students with disabilities is a plus.
  • Communication:
    Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and school staff effectively.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, which may require bending, lifting, and walking.
