Spring 2026 Qualifications High School Diploma Enjoy working with children Positive attitude Demonstrated positive work attendance record Roles and Responsibilities Greet students before/while boarding the bus. Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus. Show students to their seats. Maintain order to ensure students behave and follow safety rules. Ensure students are secured in their seats and that safety equipment is in place, such as securing wheelchairs with provided ratcheting straps. Assist students with special needs, including using specialized equipment. Document student behaviors and incidents by logging information. Using specialized training to administer rescue medication when necessary. Learn evacuation procedures and emergency procedures. Escort students off the bus, to the office, or possibly the classroom. Provide assistance with keeping the bus clean. Other duties as assigned. This position reports to the Transportation Supervisor.
