The French American Academy , a bilingual international school with campuses in New Jersey, is seeking a responsible and caring Route Chaperone to supervise students during transportation between our two campuses in Jersey City both in the morning and afternoon, during the 2026-27 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of students during the bus route. Assist younger students when boarding and exiting the bus. Maintain a calm and orderly environment on the bus. Serve as the point of contact between the school and the driver during the route. Communicate any issues or incidents to school administration.

Qualifications:

Experience working with children (school, camp, daycare, etc.) Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be available Monday through Friday, mornings and afternoons. Basic understanding of French is a plus but not required.

Compensation:
