Duties Assist students boarding and exiting the bus, ensuring they do so safely and orderly Monitor student behavior during transit, applying positive reinforcement and conflict management techniques to maintain a calm environment Provide basic first aid when necessary, responding promptly to minor injuries or health concerns Support students with special needs or those requiring additional assistance, including those with disabilities or behavioral challenges Communicate effectively with students, drivers, parents, and school staff to coordinate safe transportation routines Enforce safety rules and bus policies consistently to promote a secure travel environment Maintain cleanliness of the bus interior after each trip to ensure a hygienic space for all passengers Complete incident reports or behavioral logs as needed to document any concerns or noteworthy events during transit Keeping vehicle clean at all times Qualifications Experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of behavior management strategies and conflict resolution techniques Basic first aid certification or willingness to obtain training upon hire Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally Experience working with students with special needs or in classroom environments is a plus Demonstrated responsibility in supervising children and maintaining safety standards Prior experience in teaching or classroom settings is advantageous but not required This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about supporting children's growth and safety.
