Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a positive impact in a student's daily life by providing essential support as a school paraprofessional. This rewarding contract role is designed for those passionate about helping high school students thrive. Working closely with a single student, you'll start each morning at a local high school, accompany them on the bus to their vocational program, and assist with the return trip each afternoon. Your day will run approximately from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., following the student's schedule. Consistency, patience, and a collaborative spirit are key in making an immediate difference in their experience and success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Prior experience working as a paraprofessional, classroom assistant, or in a similar educational support capacity is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a genuine interest in supporting high school-aged students Ability to follow plans set by certified educators and collaborate effectively with school staff Reliability and punctuality for daily transportation and supervision responsibilities Comfortable assisting students with both academic and behavioral needs Ability to maintain student confidentiality and uphold school policies

Responsibilities:
