SUMMARY:
Under supervision, to perform a variety of activities in the observation and supervision of students, assist in managing student behavior and to do other related work as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
. Other duties may be assigned. Maintains a cooperative relationship with fellow staff members, students, and the general public. Adheres to and enforces district, state, and federal laws, policies, procedures, and regulations. Monitor and assist students in transportation activities. Direct students into safe learning activities and functions, and assist in the shaping of appropriate social behaviors. Assist in the management of student behavior through the use of positive strategies and techniques. Administer routine first aid and request assistance for non-routine injury or illness. Assist in maintaining an orderly, attractive, and positive school environment.

Knowledge of:
Basic concepts of child growth and development, and developmental behavior characteristics; Student behavior management strategies and techniques; Routine record management, storage, and retrieval systems and procedures.

EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent.
LANGUAGE SKILLS

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
