Questions? email HR@uscsd.k12.pa.us Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and attentive Part- time School Bus Attendant to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of students during transportation. This vital role involves supervising students, enforcing safety policies, and providing support to students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements. The ideal candidate will be energetic, compassionate, and committed to creating a positive transportation experience for all students. As a School Bus Attendant, you will play a crucial part in fostering a safe and welcoming environment on every bus ride. Responsibilities Supervise students during bus transit, ensuring their safety and proper behavior throughout the journey Assist students in boarding, seating, and disembarking the bus safely Enforce school policies and transportation safety regulations at all times Manage student behavior using effective conflict management and behavior management techniques tailored for students with special education needs Communicate regularly with parents and school staff regarding student conduct or concerns during transportation Join us in making a positive impact on students' daily journeys!
