Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Motorcoach / School Bus Detailer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and maintaining our fleet of motorcoaches and school buses to ensure they are safe, spotless, and ready for service. Your efforts will help uphold our high standards of vehicle appearance and safety, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Responsibilities Perform exterior vehicle washing using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques to ensure a spotless appearance. Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing using automotive buffers to restore shine and remove minor surface imperfections. Clean vehicle interiors meticulously, including seats, floors, windows, and other surfaces, utilizing proper detailing tools and supplies. Apply safe work practices during all cleaning procedures to protect yourself and the vehicles. Use manual transmission skills when necessary for certain vehicle maintenance or cleaning tasks. Maintain the cleanliness of the auto detailing facility and ensure all cleaning equipment is properly stored and maintained. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving equipment or parts as needed for thorough vehicle detailing. Skills Experience operating standard passenger cars with a strong understanding of safe driving practices. Knowledge of vehicle exterior washing techniques, automotive buffing, and paint correction processes. Proficiency in vehicle interior detailing including vacuuming, upholstery cleaning, and window polishing. Familiarity with auto detailing equipment such as buffers, pressure washers, vacuums, and cleaning supplies. Ability to follow detailed instructions while adhering to safety protocols and work standards. Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, demonstrating attention to cleanliness and organization. Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during detailed cleaning tasks.
